The Geneva Motorcar Show, originally set to run from March 5th to the 15th, is one of the biggest automotive shows in the world. Many manufacturers introduce their new models, concept cars are put on display and many new technologies shown to the public. First held in 1905 the event has showcased everything from the beginnings of the internal combustion engine and steam power to the latest modern supercars. Many industry partnerships and international news announcements are made during the show.

This year the Swiss government has placed a ban on events that draw over 1000 people. This is a result of the concern over the Coronavirus outbreak and steps have been taken to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. Organizers had no choice but cancel the show.

The Geneva Motorcar Show website will be kept up to date to provide information and announcements that would have been part of the event.
